Community Match - Server Test, Whos up for a laugh !!!

Lads, I have "volunteered" us and the [T&T] Clan to become testers on our Community Matches, idea being we get a sneak peek and also help out with the testing.

I am setting up a Server Test this Saturday @ 1900 GMT, all to meet in TS 15 mins prior.

If you fancy a right laugh on this map, with the T&T lads, and R-COMS etc, please post here if you can make it.

If we get enough feedback I will post up a link to grab the map ready for Saturday.

More info to follow, but in the meantime, please post if you can tip up

I have an issue with TS - I cannot work out how to get the mic to work properly. I have a built-in mike, which works fine for VOIP in-game, but I keep getting a tone when I use the mic in TS. any thoughts?

a tone .... you mean when you press a key to talk?

If so you need to go into windows sounds and disable the error wav file sound

Also make sure you have assigned a different key to your speak button as that of in game speak.

then take the desert_rats folder as and paste it into

c:/programfiles/EAGames/Battlefield2/Mods/PR/levels

I had a good time messing around on there. Its brill to have all that kit, and people taking what they like, very good fun. The Community games will be a good laugh.

Didn't notice any problems with the map but that's to be expected with Kashan. The sun low in the North makes for an excellent tactical advantage as you can see bugger all looking into it.

The UN Jeep seemed to be destroyed too easily but the UN Merlin took three fin rounds to take it out.

Maybe increase the spawn times on some of the better air assets as it could turn into a rape fest.

Couldn't get enough people in the cap radius to check the cap time but we can always try that later.

Was a giggle and I think the community will love playing this map.
