0.8 CTD Problem [SOLUTION]

I had this problem and I have seen quite a few people having this problem on the PR forums so if you are still having this problem try these steps that I am going to list as they are the most common reasons why they will make you PR 0.8 crash when you try and join a server. Before you do anything make sure you have uninstalled all of .756 correctly and fully then make sure both parts of 0.8 are installed correctly, now too troubleshooting;

1. Make sure ingame under video options that your screen resolution is set to at least 1024x768
--The dev team have already made a notifcation that this problem will be sorted out and be ready for the next patch to the 0.8 build so if this affects you that bad well it will be sorted sooner or later.

2. Under the dir/ of C:\Users\username\Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2, rename the folder called "cache" to something like "oldcache"
--Dont worry this wont affect your game in anyway its just the cached files of 'Dirty Stinking Vanilla' that are now going to be outdated due to the new mod being released as soon as you load up the game again it will create a new folder called "cache" again leaving the "oldcache" folder so if you do have any problems you can revert back to that folder.

UNINSTALLING PR 0.756

Go to Control Panel
Go to Add/Remove Programs
[IF YOU HAVE THE PATCH INSTALLED YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THREE .7.... THINGS IN THE LIST, IF NOT THEN TWO]
Remove all PR 0.7.... by right clicking and selecting uninstall
