THANKS gazz for keeping this going i`ve been a little busy at the moment this event sound great, we had planned on getting together as a team and having a drinks / meal around that date anyway.

I will help out as best I can, there is a least 6 people interested in this event maybe more.

So far the date is 2nd AUG RIGHT???

Event airsoft and in Bristol??

hi m8 just to throw this out in the water.....

there is a airsoft and paintball place just down the road to me in Bovington......

the advantage of this is that we would be able to sort out your accomadation and food.. in the SGT`s and WO`s mess in our camp.

we have our own private bar so beer is cheap!!!

to top this off also we can get a visit in to the tank musium just down the road.

not that i`m trying to take to idea from you but as there are a few members here already plus were in the army we can get access to stuff like places to stay ect really easily.

can you give us an idea of what airsoft is all about and how many people are you planning on having in the teams???

wow that sounds epic, ur aloud to accommodate civis for personal reasons ? also bonvington tank museum rocks soo hard

airsoft, well im quite new so ill give u my experience and i assume its dependent on site but its like paintball but the guns weigh the same same scale ect ect more range and accuracy than paintball, about 50m, the games we played where all regeneration , have to pull back to main base then back out. ill make tip post ASAP as he dose this properly. and we looking at around 15 people max on our side, probably more like 10.

ill bring this up on igi forum though this sounds like a great idea for a igi weekend, and meet for u guys.

I think playing airsoft would be a better laugh and experience than paintballing also if we can get accom and bovi and stuff that would be perfect...

guys, seriously airsoft is the dogs bollocks...

is the iGi massive, cannot emphasize how good a day this was, M4's, AK's, and a shed load of people that take it waay too seriously getting owned by us n00bs!

Hiya lads, seriously Airsoft is what you make of it. but just a quick question about accommodation, im a craftsman in the TA, would i not be placed in an OR's Acoom? or do i just rock up as a civvie?

and I've been to bovington before and i really liked the museum and would love to go again

after talking with igi lads seems bovington is just to far to get to, much appreciation for the offer though, what about the site i originally said where our clan member knows the manager?
